None of us likes it when a friend has computer problems and we have to guide them over the phone. Besides skills, you will also need patience and nerves of steel in these situations. With Hidden Administrator, you will be able to connect to a computer and control it remotely, as if you were actually there. Your friend can be in the next room or on a different continent and you will be able to connect to his computer just as well.

During the setup process, you can choose to install the software's administrator module, the client or both. You will need to install the client on the computer you want to control. Hidden Administrator can be used on different Windows versions, from Win NT to Win 7.

A list of host computers can be compiled on the interface. The option for creating a new connection can be found on the toolbar and it will display a small window. Here, you can type in the remote computer's IP address or DNS name, its port, a description and a password. You can also select a color depth, refresh rate and other display options for the remote screen feature, under a different tab.

The created connections can be organized in different folders, thanks to a tree structure, placed on the left side of the interface. You may create, delete or move folders, in this tree menu, however you want. Connecting to a computer can be done by selecting one and clicking the connect button on the toolbar. Once connected, you may use the options on the toolbar to see what a person is doing on that computer, or to assume full control.

If you activate the silent watch mode, you will be able to see the remote computer's desktop and every action performed by the user, in real time. You may control that computer with another option on the toolbar. You will be working on the host computer just like on your own. It is also possible to manage the files on its hard drive, without using the aforementioned function. After clicking the appropriate option on the toolbar, an interface, similar to Total Commander, will appear on the screen, where you can move, copy, rename or delete any files and folders.

Other options allow you to chat with the person who is using the host computer, access his Windows Registry and if you are skilled enough, you can even use a remote console. Hidden Administrator lets you connect to multiple computers at the same time and monitor all of them in a single window. The multi-screen window can be accessed with a toolbar button. It displays multiple remote screens, in real time, and a list of connections. It is also possible to set a different number of remote screens and connect to one of the computers by selecting its screen and clicking a button.

Pros

Hidden Administrator lets you connect to more than one computer simultaneously and it will display a remote screen for each one, on the same window. You can take full control of a computer, manage its files, access its registry and more. Another good aspect is the fact that all connections can be organized in folders, making it easy to find a specific one.

Cons

There are no customization options for the interface. Hidden Administrator makes it possible to monitor, control and manage any computers, from around the world. It offers various functions for both advanced and novice users.
